CRM Malaysia acknowledges that companies like yours, creates small announcements or newsletters on a frequent basis. By creating a simple and basic newsletter template of your own will save you a lot of time. Creating your own template is also a great way if you want to display your products in the email. iCRM allows you to do that and personalise your own template.
Below is a short tutorial on how to create an email template.
1. Go to Email Setup > Templates > New Mail Template.

2. You can construct the email template in any way you like such as inserting a text copy or some images into the template. To insert an image, click on image icon as illustrated below.

3. Paste the URL of the image that you would like to add to the URL text field provided and click OK to insert the image. In the illustration below, you could see a vertical highlighted column. This column enables you to change the size and width of the image as well as adding other properties such as the border of the image.

4. An image will now appear as part of your template.

5. After you have completed customising your email template, click Template Info tab. Then, insert your email template’s name with some description. Click Add to save the template.

6. To view your template that you have just created, go to Email Setup > Templates > View Template List .

7. You can now see the template that you have just created in the list of templates.

8. Besides the method mentioned above, you can also add in your own ready-to-used template into iCRM system. You can do so by copying the code of your template. Right click on the template and click View Source . Select all the scripts in the popup window and hit Control + C to copy.

9. Next, return to Create New Template page (refer step 1) and click on the Source icon as illustrated below.

10. Paste you code into the empty text area.

11. Repeat Step 5 and finally, save the template by clicking on Add button located below the text area.
